Blog / Newsroom
Malouf Home uses the built-in blog in BigCommerce, which is also used for the Newsroom (Media Pages). See BigCommerce docs here for blog settings and creating a blog post. Each blog post needs a specific tag to appear in the blog or appropriate media page.
Location, Tags, and Redirects
The Blog is at https://www.maloufhome.com/blog. However, this is currently set to redirect to https://www.maloufhome.com/blog/tag/blog. To view all blog posts for a specific tag, the URL is https://www.maloufhome.com/blog/tag/TAG NAME. Therefore all blog articles in order to show up in the blog should be given the blog tag.
The Newsroom is at https://www.maloufhome.com/media, redirects to https://www.maloufhome.com/blog/tag/media, which further splits into Press Releases and In The News sections and pages. These all use tags and redirects as follows in the table below. In order for the post to show up in the Newsroom, it must have the media tag plus either a press or news tag to show up in Press Releases or In the News, respectively. (NOTE: These should not be given the blog tag.)

In The News Post URLs
Posts that have the news tag found under In The News cannot link to the article off-site when setting the Post URL in BigCommerce > Storefront > Blog. Therefore you must create a redirect from the blog post URL created here to the actual URL where the article is found on the media site. Redirects are added in BigCommerce > Settings > 301 redirect.
